One of the most popular features of a stylish winter coat is a faux fur hood. These have a elegant and beautiful look. A lot of people are choosing down filled "puffy" coats. They are exceptionally warm on these cold winter days. Old navy is one of the least expensive brands. Columbia and Abercrombie are more expensive. A common style by gap is the wool toggle coat. These look like something a businesswoman could wear to look nice and stay warm. The downside of a wool coat though is that most of them have to be dry cleaned.
Columbia brand is well known for their extra warm ski coats. They usually come in bright colors. Hollister is very similar in style to Abercrombie, puffy light or khaki colors with faux fur trim. American eagle is similar to gap with the selection of wool coats. Gap is probably the best brand if you are looking for an attractive trench coat.
Unique designs that seem to be in demand right now are the plaids, houndstooth, and name brand logos. It seems like black, gray, and khaki tans will never go out of style. These colors are neutral and very easily match with most outfit weather it be sweats, jeans, or dress slacks. These colors also do not look extremely out of place with dress shoes, sandals, or tennis shoes. They are just very soft basic plain colors that will go with almost anything and not to mention they look wonderful with your jewelry and make your jewelry stand out.
I hope this will give you some ideas to help you find and choose a coat for this upcoming winter season!
